The SCAN VHF73 Marine antenna is designed, developed and manufactured for the following frequency range: 146-162,5 MHz. The VHF73 Marine antenna can be deployed wherever you go around the globe.
The antenna gain is 3 Db (Marine). The carefully designed antenna elements are sealed in a high quality glass fiber tube. The SCAN VHF73 is suitable for corrosive and demanding Marine and offshore environments and applications.
The SCAN VHF73 Marine antenna is in combination with optional brackets suitable for mast, wall and deck mount. The VHF73 offshore antenna can be mounted on a mast with the so called 1 inch revolving nut (optional).
The antenna cable (optional) requires an UHF-male connector to connect to the antenna UHF-Female connector at the bottom of the SCAN VHF73 Marine antenna. All metal parts are dc grounded so a ground plane is not required. With the SCAN VHF73 you get a light weight VHF marine and offshore antenna, suitable for corrosive and demanding environments.
